ALEXANDRIA, La. – The sixth seed Louisiana Christian University men's basketball program had to play catch-up all game long against a run-and-gun #7 Southwest (New Mexico) Mustangs team and could not pry the invisible lid off their basket, shooting just 33.9% from the floor (19-for-56) while USW lit the Coliseum on fire with a 53.7% success rate (29-of-54) in a 75-63 decision.

- Devin Carter was practically the entire offense in the RRAC Semifinals as the only student-athlete for the good guys to score more than 8 points, dropping 18 on the Stangs for his 26th consecutive double-digit showing plus a team-leading three steals and three boards too.
- Chukwuemeke Nwaoshai completed his one and only season in Pineville with a Wildcat-best nine rebounds in addition to seven points, thanks to a season-high three free throws made.
- Drew Tebbe handed out more than half of the club's nine assists, dropping five dimes to go along with a quartet of points.
