PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University men's basketball program broke its tie for seventh place with Jarvis Christian in emphatic fashion Thursday evening, trouncing the Bulldogs in a 84-64 rout.
LCU had its way on the boards, nearly notching a 20+ margin for the second time this season, amassing a year's best 54 compared to JCU's 35 (+19).
The 20-point blowout was the Cats' largest margin of victory in nearly two full years, the last one coming in the team's lone win over LSUA in school history when they defeated the Generals by 23 (73-50) in the 2022-23 RRAC Quarterfinals.

Wildcats Top Performers:
- Jon'Quarius McGhee collected his first career double-double in his 49th appearance as a Wildcat, notching a career/game-best 11 rebounds in addition to 15 points, setting 2024-25 benchmarks for buckets (6) and assists (3) along the way.
- Bryce Weinmunson tied his campaign-high scoring output with a game-leading 18 points on 7-of-14 (50%) shooting plus going 3-for-7 (42.9%) from downtown while also picking up a contest-most three steals as well.
- Braedyn Ellison only saw action over the final three minutes of play, but he made the moment count, popping off for a career-high three field goals in four tries (75%) and a season-most six points in that short span.
- Carter kept his streak of double-digit scoring games to 19-and-counting, dropping 16 on the Dogs which included a pair of long balls.
