PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University athletics program will have spherical sports playing in neutral site tournaments, tennis opens its home slate, and basketball plays a pair of Lone Star opponents.
   
The hoops regular season is starting to wind down over the next few weeks and home games inside H.O. West Fieldhouse are dwindling for the Seniors as Thursday's doubleheader with Jarvis Christian (5:30 / 7:30 p.m.) is currently the second-to-last contest on-campus this year.
   
Both baseball and softball will compete in two-day events beginning on Friday with the men playing #14 Central Methodist (11 a.m.) and Park-Missouri (2:30 p.m.) while the women have Oklahoma Panhandle State (3 p.m.) and Texas Wesleyan (6 p.m.).
   
Head Coach Mike Byrnes' guys wrap up the Cajun Collision versus Georgetown-Kentucky (11 a.m.) and Indiana-Kokomo (6 p.m.) in Sterlington.
 
Barry Roberts' ladies end its two-weekend stint at Champions Sportsplex and its participation in the Generals Showdown opposite Central Baptist (10:30 a.m.) plus the first of three meetings versus #14 William Carey (12:30 p.m.).
 
The hardcourt hoopsters make a trip to the Texas/Arkansas border in an attempt to ground the Eagles of Texas A&M-Texarkana for a 1/3 p.m. twin-bill.
 
Last but not least, the tennis student-athletes try to knock off the NCAA Division I's Grambling State Tigers in their debut on the courts of Richard L. Crowell Tennis Center for the second straight season at 2 p.m. down in front of the highway.
