  • Bella Houck drove in two runs on two separate swings of the bat, blasting a screaming liner into centerfield for an RBI-double to open the scoring and then getting enough air under another ball to register a sac fly RBI as part of a 2-of-3 showing.

  • Sadie Landry was also not able to be stopped in two plate appearances, lacing two singles and scoring each time, driving home a runner on one occasion and stealing a base on the other.

  • Mariel Medrano got on-base twice as well, hitting a knock and walking in addition to also crossing the dish twice on top of steal.

  • A collegiate first was made in the form of Reagan Duplechain as the freshman from Alfred M. Barbe High School out of Lake Charles reached safely and scored for the first time in her career, making Texas College pay for hitting her with a pitch.
