PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University athletics program recognizes women's basketball's Kylei Leblanc and men's basketball's Devin Carter as this week's LCU Student-Athletes of the Week.
 
Leblanc, a freshman small forward / center from Lake Charles, Louisiana, set a season-high with 14 rebounds in the win at Paul Quinn, which resulted in her fifth double-double of the season (14 rebounds and 13 points). She led the Wildcats in rebounds (9.0 / 18), defensive rebounds (7.5 / 15) and blocks (2.5 / 5) while also notching a steal. The first-year shot 60% (9-of-15) from the floor and averaged a stellar 10.5 points a night.
 
Carter, junior guard from Edwards, Mississippi, led the Wildcats in field goal percentage (47.1%), three-point percentage (55%), free throw percentage (100%), points (23.5 / 47), field goals (8.0 / 16), and three-pointers (5.5 / 11). He shot 47.1% overall, 55% from three & 100% from the line while averaging 23.5 points, eight field goals, 5.5 three-pointers, 2.5 rebounds and two assists per game on offense. Defensively, the Alcorn / Copiah-Lincoln CC transfer set a season-high with a trio steals in both wins at Southwest (New Mexico) as well as Paul Quinn in addition to topping the team in steals (3.0 / 6) on top of blocking a shot.
