PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University women's basketball program got to be the second-half of the hoops doubleheader thanks to a late arrival by the referees, but the delay was not enough to slow down the one-loss Gold Nuggets in a 71-52 defeat.

• The other Cat to score 13 was Princis Goff, making half of her eight attempts and a club-most seven rebounds.

 

• McKayla Price was the third and final player to hit double-figures in the scoresheet, reaching ten points and matching Goff for the rebounding crown at seven.
