PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University athletics program makes its long-awaited return to the hardwood after nearly three weeks, 19 days to be exact, since their last intercollegiate action.
   
The women will get the new year's party started Thursday evening in Mission City opposite the Our Lady of the Lake Saints at 5:30 p.m. inside Mabee Gymnasium while the guys set their sights on its second top-20 victory of the campaign after now #20 OLLU escaped CenLa with a narrow win in mid-November.
   
For the first time in the long hoops history of LCU, they will be spending the entire three-day "weekend" in San Antonio as they pay the TAMUSA Jaguars their first visit to the Texas A&M-San Antonio Recreational Sports Center for the final leg of the annual home-and-home series.
