NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Louisiana Christian University men's basketball program had its worst shooting evening of the campaign opposite the Xavier Gold Rush, stunting their momentum in a low-scoring setback, 61-42.
 
The Wildcats seemingly had a lid on the basket that it could not pry loose, lurching and sputtering its way to season-lows in nearly every offensive category; field goals (12), field goal percentage (25%), three-pointers (1), three-point percentage (6.3%) and points (42).

	- The only career benchmark to be reached was by Omarion Layssard, who tied his highest total regarding free throws made (7) and logged five boards, all resulting in second-chance opportunities.
