PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University athletics program will host four NAIA ranked opponents on "The Hill" with eight separate games scattered throughout a three-day span while tennis hits the road for its opening weekend.
   
Between the two hoops squads, the bi-annual Red River Rivalry series has not been held inside H.O. West Fieldhouse in nearly two full years with the last eight matchups being held either at LSUA or Rapides Parish Coliseum. Come out and give the white-hot Wildcats your full support at 5:30/7:30 p.m. Thursday evening.
   
The Diamond Cats will brave the elements and have the tall task of knocking off the #13 Mid-America Christian Evangels in their 2025 Season and Home Opener during a 3/6 p.m. doubleheader Friday afternoon.
   
What a day for LCU sports on Saturday, starting off with the Pineville Nine's second straight twin-bill against national championship contenders, this time opposite 2024 World Series participant and 12th-ranked Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes with first pitch of game one starting at noon.
 
Two more big opportunities for the court-dwellers are in store on Saturday versus LSU Shreveport at 1/3 p.m. as each team looks to continue surging up the standings during the RRAC's second half slate.
 
Finally, the only unit in action which has to leave town for their matches is women's tennis, who take on both NCAA Division I's Louisiana Tech (1:30 p.m.) and NCAA Division II's Southern Arkansas (4 p.m.) in Ruston.
