Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

Ladies Sweep Through San Antonio For First Winning Streak Of 2024-25

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University women's basketball program picked up its best win of the campaign over third-place Texas A&M-San Antonio squad who came into the day seven games over .500, riding a pair of double-doubles to pull off a 91-84 shocker.

The Wildcats scorched the Jaguars Den to the tune of a 36-for-61 (59%) shooting bonanza and nearly banked a field goal percentage north of 60% for the first time since December 2022 at Tougaloo.

If you thought Thursday's display of rebounding was impressive, the Orange and Blue's post presence was even more overpowering on Saturday, going for an unfathomable +29 advantage, out-muscling the Jags 52 to 23 which negated a -18 turnover differential.

The visitors from Pineville put on an offensive clinic, setting new benchmarks for points (91), field goals (36), three-point percentage (50%, 4-of-8), and field-goal percentage.
