MARSHALL, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University volleyball program held a 22-17 lead, three points away from a first set victory, unfortunately, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods caught fire, scoring the final eight points unanswered to take the opener and rode that momentum to a sweep of the ladies, improving to 12-0 while dropping the Cats to 5-6 at the conclusion of the Wiley Showdown tournament debut.

Wildcats Top Performers:
- Jones was the "lead blocker" with a pair of solos as well as two block assists, set a season-high of four digs (1.33 p/s), and hit .286 over 14 attempts, recording just a single error.
- Emma Cother averaged 6.67 assists per set for a match-most 20 in total while Leah Stamps tallied 13 digs (4.33 p/s), highest of all student-athletes on either side.
