ALEXANDRIA, La. – The Louisiana Christian University women's soccer program earned a point in their Red River Athletic Conference opener and Head Coach Harrison Houle's return to his alma mater as neither side could find the back of the net in a scoreless, physical Red River Rivalry.
 
This is the second time in six meetings that both teams came up empty in the goals department, the other coming on October 14, 2022.

• For the second straight match, Jaycee Woods picked up a shutout without barely having to move or lift a gloved finger as the Generals showed her just one single shot faced.

 

• Daniela Gomez finally got her first career shot off while both Zoi Arkirvaki and Maria Alonso each launched a pair of attempts, each landing one of them on-target.
