LAKE CHARLES, La. – The Louisiana Christian University women's soccer program gave the McNeese Cowgirls fits on their own pitch through the first 60-plus minutes Friday evening, but a penalty kick goal in the first half and a trio of scores in the second were too much for the ladies to overcome in a 4-0 loss.

• Kayleigh Tomasich, Maria Alonso, and Valeria Barriga Casallas all placed their lone attempt on-goal while Zoi Arkirvaki as well as Kamsi Nwosu missed their mark when they launched their kicks.

 

• Jaycee Woods held down the fort for as long as she could, snagging a quartet of saves in the midst of facing a career-most 18 shots.
