Wildcats Top Performers:

  • Since the latter half of the twin-bill did not end at the time of this writing, we will focus solely on the completed contest.

  • Braxton Cooksey made his third start of the campaign and 16th overall appearance on the hill, keeping the Eagles at bay with 4.1 innings without an earned run (one unearned) including a pair of strikeouts in between four hits and two walks. The McComb, Mississippi native also attempted to help his own cause at the dish with a base knock.

  • Adrian Aguilar put together multi-hit outing number 14 in 2024, hitting .667 by going 2-for-3 courtesy of a pair of singles.

  • Chris Kelley continues to be a pinch-hitting professional, coming through once again off the pine for a seeing-eye single.

  • Braden Trull felt extra on his one hit in two at-bats by doubling and Gabe Spedale coaxed the only free pass off of Texarkana's starting pitcher Gage Mason.
