Wildcats Top Performers:
- #5 Mikhailova was also the only student-athlete to take a set on the singles side for LCU, winning the second set opposite Millie Wileman during a 2-6, 6-2, 3-5 battle left unfinished.
- The Orange and Blue were painstakingly close to swinging the doubles point their way as the doubles partnership on the top line (Patricia Principal Pineda / Ana Sofia Ferrer Martinez) nearly pulled one out versus Lucia Popluharova / Saskia Vogelzang, eventually succumbing by a 710-68 margin.
- Principal Pineda was on the doorstep of evening up the score on court one when the match was called, bouncing back from a 6-4 setback in the first set to lead 5-2 in the second, but unfortunately was unable to get the job done in time.
- #2 Coelho Rodrigues collected eight games during her rendezvous with the Saints' Popluharova (6-4, 6-4) while #3 Alexandra Cedeno gave Ana Ossio a scare during their 2-6, 4-5 tussle.
