- Elizaveta Mikhailova was the star of the day, blowing away Texarkana's Tatum Sikes with a pair of 6-0 shutouts on the fifth flight in addition to giving LSUS' Sara Sofia Sanchez Molano all kinds of trouble on the same flight at 4-6, 7-5, 0-1 which went unfinished.

- Tanit Cevada Cruz was the only winner in the match at (RV) LSU Shreveport, taking care of business against Ana Julia De Paula Mandrot with a 6-2, 6-3 victory on court six.

- In doubles action, Mikhailova and Raquel Coelho Rodrigues knocked out Andrea Castillo and Fiest on the second line (6-2) while the Batterton / Alexandra Cedeno duo locked up the doubles point on flight three with a 6-1 triumph over Sikes / Young.
