ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Louisiana Christian University women's tennis program forced tiebreakers five times over the course of the morning and was able to take the singles third plus fifth flights on top of one of the doubles matches for a well-played contest that the Tigers won 5-2.

  • Raquel Coelho Rodrigues did not take a loss in either of her matchups against the Division II club, winning on court three during singles play over Natalia Zamora Caprirolo (70-60, 6-4) while teaming up with Elizaveta Mikhailova to edge Sadbaroy Kholdarova and Olivia Gaston on the second line of doubles action (6-3).
 
  • The other point scorer for the Orange and Blue was Tanit Cevada Cruz, who claimed a 6-4, 70-60 triumph against Olivia Gaston out of the fifth slot.
 
  • Ana Sofia Ferrer Martinez looked to be on her way to a victory on the fourth flight as she opened things up with a 6-0 sweep, but unfortunately Ruxandra Tolescu came storming back to take the match by winning 6-2 and 6-1.
 
  • #6 Mikhailova took her counterpart the distance before eventually falling to Ali May (6-2, 70-60, 110-06).
 
  • The top doubles duo of Patricia Principal Pineda / Ferrer Martinez came excruciatingly close to bringing home the doubles point for the Wildcats, needing tiebreakers to decide the outcome with OBU's Austynn Crocker / Natalia Zamora Caprirolo, winding up at a 77-64 tally.
