ALEXANDRIA, La. – The Louisiana Christian University men's basketball program witnessed a game-tying three-point try by
Sam Wren clang off the rim and into the waiting arms of Jarvis Christian's George Nwogu as the Wildcats dropped a one-possession game at Alexandria Senior High School, 72-69.

- Omarion Layssard was the lone LCU student-athlete to set a personal-high, tying for the contest's most assists with five as well as six points.

- D'Marcus Fugett scored two touchdowns plus the extra points . . . wrong sport . . . dropping 14 points on 5-of-6 (83.3%) shooting in addition to six boards and four dimes.

- Jon'Quarius McGhee has started to come into his own down the home stretch, notching his third contest in double-digits over his past four appearances as he collected his jersey number's worth, 11.
