• One slot below her on the four-line, Ana Sofia Ferrer Martinez also had to grind out a gritty game that went all the way, usurping Daniela Maldonado by a 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 tally.

 

• The final winner for the Orange and Blue was Tanit Cevada Cruz down on flight number six, defeating Ana Julia De Paula Mandrot in two (6-3, 6-4).
