ALEXANDRIA, La. – The Louisiana Christian University women's tennis program faced the gold standard of the Red River Athletic Conference and will be able to take the contest as a measuring stick of what they want to become as a program as the 7th-ranked Generals of LSUA won in a shutout, 7-0.

Wildcats Top Performers:
 

• The doubles partners of Raquel Coelho Rodrigues and Ana Sofia Ferrer Martinez were the only Cats to slay the mighty Generals, as the duo defeated Maria Alvarez and Marie Peters, 7-5, on the second flight  despite the home team claiming the doubles point.

 

• On the doubles three-line, Elizaveta Mikhailova and Tanit Cevada Cruz came up just shy of taking the point for LCU, falling by a slim 7-5 decision.

 

• The biggest fight out of the singles competitions came from #3 Alexandra Cedeno, who took seven games from Peters (6-4, 6-3) while Ferrer Martinez was not far behind in the fourth slot as she claimed a half-dozen (6-2, 6-4) against Lucie Ivanova.

 

• #1 Patricia Principal Pineda and #5 Chloe Batterton fell in identical fashion to Olivia Scattini and Joline Roesch, respectively, each dropping 6-2, 6-1 setbacks.
