STAFFORD, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University women's basketball program drained half of its shots from the field (24-for-48), but it was at the free throw line where the ladies won as Princis Goff made her final attempt from the stripe with 1.1 seconds in regulation to defeat North American University by the slimmest of margins, 68-67 on the road.
The two teams were not merely evenly-matched on the scoreboard, tying in rebounds (33-33) and assists (20-20) while squeaking out an advantage regarding both steals (9-8) as well as blocks (3-2).

Wildcats Top Performers:
- While Princis Goff's last of her game-best 29 points were the difference, she made her presence known elsewhere as well, notching a career-most four assists, her third multi-block contest as a Wildcat (2), and contest-highs of three steals plus 11 rebounds.
* The Atlanta . . . Louisiana native was 9-of-13 (69.2%) as she pieced together her ninth double-double while repping "The Hill" and for the second consecutive Saturday.
- Jakiya Thompson tied her career-high in assists with a club-leading half-dozen and shared the steals spotlight with Goff at a trio, all done in a mere 20 minutes as a reserve.
- Kylei Leblanc maintained the boards portion of the double-double (10) but could not get the additional basket needed (eight points), settling for three dimes, a block, and a steal on top of making 80% of her looks (4-of-5).
- McKayla Price had the top scoring performance among the bench players for Head Coach Anna Phillips, adding 13 points to the Cats' tally.
