Cats Break Shutout Record, Wins Second Place Showdown At (RV) Xavier

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Louisiana Christian University women's soccer program were picked to finish fifth in the league and will now enter the RRAC Tournament as the favorite to land the conference's second auto-bid to nationals after upsetting the (RV) Gold Nuggets via a single goal for its second ranked win of 2024, 1-0.

Under first year Head Coach Harrison Houle, the Wildcats, who had never beaten a ranked or receiving votes opponent in their first 22 attempts, have now knocked off its last two in shutout fashion.

It was LCU's 12th clean sheet of the season, breaking the tie with the school's only NAIA participant and RRAC Championship team from the fall of 2021 for the most in club history.
