Veterans Lead Cats Past OLLU For Rousing Win

ALEXANDRIA, La. – The Louisiana Christian University women's basketball program were determined to get off the schneid and did exactly that, getting 58 of its points (77.3%) from its trio of returning core to race past Our Lady of the Lake, 75-60.

The Orange and Blue shot around 45% from both the floor and the three-point line, leading by as much as 20 points while never trailing.

Wildcats Top Performers: 

  • Princis Goff somehow managed to top her 28-point clinic on Thursday, posting her eighth career double-double in game #30 as a Wildcat (26.7%) and the first of 2024-25, smoking the Saints with game-bests regarding both points (31) and rebounds (12), plus a career-high three treys.


                        * The possible front runner for Conference Player of the Week was super efficient in all facets Saturday, hitting 10-of-16 (62.5%) overall attempts including 3-of-4 (75%) from long range and 8-for-10 (80%) on freebies.

                                        * Finally, she produced a team-most three steals, dished out three dimes and blocked a shot.

  • DaKayla Howard was a well-rounded force too, picking up a contest-high seven assists in addition to an equal amount of boards and a dozen points.

  • McKayla Price kept her reputation as a weapon off the bench, playing 29 minutes in which she went for 15 points over six buckets on top of five rebounds and a 46.2 field-goal percentage.

  • Kylei Leblanc had a quality six points and six boards in 15 minutes from the starting five.
