ALEXANDRIA, La. – The Louisiana Christian University men's basketball program came close to upsetting a top-35 OLLU team that came into CenLa white-hot and receiving 20 points in the latest poll, but three-point shooting troubles (2-for-17, 11.8%), including on the final heave with one second left down three, cost the Cats in a 75-71.

Wildcats Top Performers:
- Chukwuemeke Nwaoshai put together a fantastic showing, double-doubling via 11 points and a game-high ten rebounds while connecting on 62.5% (5-for-8) of his shots, mainly from inside the painted area.
- Corey Lombard fronted the scoring for either side, recording 15 points in 18 minutes (0.83 PPM) as a reserve thanks to a 6-of-10 (60%) shooting line in addition to a pair of swats.
- Jon'Quarius McGhee handed out a trio of assists to tie for the game's high to go along with four rebounds, two steals, on top of a block and Braedyn Ellison drained his one shot attempt from long-distance in only four minutes.
