SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University women's soccer program held a shooting spree led by their seniors while shutting the host Jaguars down and out for its third straight clean sheet, tenth of the year in a 2-0 win at Texas A&M-San Antonio.

  • Emma Monnet tied a career-high with seven shots-on-goal, exactly half of the Wildcats' total count for the afternoon, and one off-target as she scored on the visitors' first shot of the day to give Coach Houle the lead just under four minutes in.

 
  • Maria Alonso contributed four shots and two SOGs including a penalty kick goal in the 70th minute to all but seal the dub for the Orange and Blue.

 
  • After becoming the career shutouts leader on Saturday, Jaycee Woods decided to pad her lead with her 16th goose egg on "The Hill", making four saves.

 
  •  Ana Guedes was the only other student-athlete with more than one on-target shot, putting both of her attempts between the pipes, picking up her second multi-SOG of 2024 in just 18 minutes as a reserve.

  • Alonso broke the tie with Laura Magleau (2021-22) and Martina Terra Garcia at the top of the all-time PK list with her third in addition to becoming just the tenth player in school history with double-figure goals scored at ten.

 
  • Woods leapt back into the top-three for save percentage against the Jags, nearly adding a full point to her line at 74.7%.
