PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University men's soccer program saw seemingly every bounce fall in favor of (RV) LSU Shreveport as the Pilots scored on five of its ten shot attempts and got a rare gift from the #25 Wildcats via an own goal during an unlucky 6-1 setback.
The loss was the first time LCU had not earned at least one point in a home game in its past 15 tries, and they were also riding a 19-match unbeaten streak inside Wildcat Field against Red River Athletic Conference opponents, having fallen only twice on-campus in league play since joining in fall of 2021, its last being in the Red River Rivalry on October 15, 2021.
