Wildcats Top Performers:

  • Kate Campbell led the club with ten kills (3.33 p/s), her seventh match of 2024 in double-digits and the 12th overall, hitting .304 and picking up a pair of solo blocks (0.67 p/s).

  • Emma Cother recorded her 25th career double-double and tenth of the year, going for 16 assists (5.33 p/s) and 11 digs (3.67 p/s) plus a kill (0.33 p/s).

  • Leah Stamps topped the Orange and Blue at 13 digs (4.33 p/s), Megan O'Neal contributed the only service ace for LCU, and Summer Martin tallied her first two career assists as well as a solo swat.

Record Book Watch:

Career

  • Campbell notched her 10th and 11th blocks without any help, catapulting her past Jaslyn Bright (2017-21) and teammate Katie Spell for fourth all-time, starting the evening in sixth.

Team

  • The Cats logged four blocks at Our Lady of the Lake, all solos, putting their total up to 27 which is good enough for third-most by a Salloum-led squad.

Season

  • Stamps edged past I'Nyah Kately's 2018 digs number in the Alamo City, putting her at 302 now, fourth-highest amount ever.

  • Even on quiet nights Kierra Jones makes noise, as her singular block of the evening moved her into a three-way deadlock for the second-most blocks in a season (54), tying her with Sadi Jones (2018) and herself (2022).

Game

  • The four block solos by the front line, mentioned numerous times above, was also the seventh-highest tally for a match by the team.

Next:

  • One more try to solve the Saints comes at noon on Saturday as the Wildcats attempt to get back to .500 on the campaign.
