PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University men's soccer program matched its single-game program record for goals scored that it set just seven days prior at Paul Quinn, putting up another eight-nil shutout, this time coming against Texas College.

Wildcats Top Performers:
- Duarte Mendes scored his first career goal shortly after the halftime break (49th minute) and followed that up with his second less than ten minutes later (58th minute),
- Sergio Pita Martin now has two multi-goal efforts to his credit with both coming against the Steers, putting together a team-high five points in the process at two scores plus an assist.
- Adrian Amoros Navarro tied Pita Martin for the Wildcats' point lead on the evening, also scoring five but doing so in a different fashion by way of just one goal in addition to an assist hat trick.
- The former Northwestern Ohio Racer got on the board for the first and second time as a member of the Orange and Blue, cashing both of his shots-on-goal into the goal department.
- Freshman Juan Diego Sierra Vasquez got to put a dent in both the goal and assist column Saturday night, netting the game-winner at the 39:58 mark for the only score in the opening half of play.
- Alejandro Sanchez Chacon got his first assist as well for LCU, squeezing a pass between defenders to set up Mendes' first score.
- For the first time all year fans got to see somebody other than Rodrigo Silva (1 save) in goal for the Cats as he gave way to Igor Acorinte in the 73rd minute who finished out the shutout.

- Coach Castillo's crew blanked the opposition for the fourth time this campaign and third in RRAC action.
