WACO, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University women's soccer program has now taken home one of the Red River Athletic Conference's weekly accolades in three of the four iterations so far in 2023 as
Emma Monnet was the latest to earn the honor after a superb showing against LSU Alexandria on Saturday.
Â
Monnet, a junior from Yzeure, Allier, France, netted her third career hat trick and her first since 2021, by scoring a trio of goals on just four shots while also adding in an assist as well to give her a scintillating seven-point day.
Â
The five-foot-two forward / midfielder is currently the only active Wildcat on the roster to have received multiple RRAC weekly hardware, having done so on August 30, 2022 in a highly productive opening week.
Â
Monnet, her two other weekly award-winning teammates
Jaycee Woods and
Maryane Mafra, and the whole club will head west to Southwest (New Mexico) on Thursday to face the Mustangs at 2 p.m. central time.
