Wildcats Top Performers:

  • Shakeem Walters had one of the most memorable moments of the match, putting the game on ice with the third and final goal of the evening before performing a backflip in celebration to the delight of the home crowd.

  • Sergio Pita Martin took little time putting the men from Pineville in front, slipping one between the posts less than five minutes into the second half.

  • Adrian Amoros Navarro scored in both facets, driving a goal past the diving mitt of the keeper in the 55th minute and setting up Pita Martin's ultimate game-winner just moments prior.

  • Natty Essomba may not have put one home, but he was just as critical as his goal producing teammates, serving up a pair of assists.

  • Rodrigo Silva's fortress has not been penetrated in his past 206 minutes as goalkeeper dating back to the match with Bethel (Tennessee), making three saves to keep a goose egg on the board and writing another clean sheet.

Notes:

  • The Orange and Blue have now pitched back-to-back shutouts on the season as well as in the series history, hitting a stalemate in a 0-0 draw last year.

Next:

  • For the first time in three weeks, Louisiana Christian will need to live out of their suitcases for a few days, traveling to USW on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. for its first road test of September.
