  • The Orange and Blue have been one of the deadly serving teams in the NAIA, ranking 12th with an average of 2.47 aces per set while also blocking a ton of attacks at 2.12 blocks per set, ranking 16th nationally.

  • Emma Cother has built upon last season's RRAC Honorable Mention selection and looks to jump up a team or two, sitting among the top-35 in assists per set with 9.75.

  • Kierra Jones has been a brick wall on the front line, using her six-foot frame send back an average of 1.18 swings per set, a mark that gives her a top-ten ranking.

  • Three student-athletes have recorded at least 30 kills already in five matches, led by Aniah Adams (51, 3.00 p/s), followed by Katie Spell (44, 2.75 p/s), then Megan O'Neal (31, 2.38 p/s) with the latter two hitting above .260 as well.

Xavier (Louisiana) Gold Nuggets:

  • The Gold Nuggets have played one-third of their nine matches against top competition, getting swept by #13 Columbia (Missouri), going the distance in a loss to #19 Central Methodist, and upending (RV) John Brown in four, in addition to cruising past Paul Quinn in its RRAC opening doubleheader.

  • XULA has also excelled from behind the service line and above the net, slotting nine spots behind the Cats in aces per set at 2.31 and 20 ranks behind for blocks per set with 2.13.

  • When on the defensive, LCU will need to be aware of Kennedy Wade at all times as she's among the top-25 for points (4.3) and kills per set (3.77).

  • In reference to the top servers, Bengisu Kazazlar has been the go-to girl for Head Coach Pat Kendrick in her sixth season, as she's perched within the top-25 at 0.64 aces per set.
