HAWKINS, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University volleyball program won its third and fourth consecutive games of the season over the weekend, sweeping Jarvis Christian on Friday before squeaking out a five-set thriller on Saturday to remain undefeated.

- Katie Spell led the Wildcats in points (27.5), kills (23), points per set (3.44) and kills per set (2.89) including her third career double-double of 15 digs & 14 kills on Saturday.

- She set new single-game career-highs for points (18.5), digs (15) and assists (2) over the weekend while collectively hitting .217.

- Emma Cother looks like she will be in the running for the Conference Setter of the Week once again, averaging nearly nine assists per set (8.88) with 74 total helpers.

- The Carencro native logged her seventh career double-double on the same afternoon as Spell, piecing together 47 assists and a dozen digs.

- She smacked a career-high three kills on Friday in addition to adding 1.88 digs per set as well over the two matches.

- Aniah Adams was nipping on Spell's heals in reference to the kills crown at 22 (2.75 p/s) and Leah Stamps was a digging machine on Saturday, nearly putting 20 in the stat sheet (19).

- Kierra Jones averaged a block per set (1.00) while sending eight attacks back to where they came from as well as a season-high four digs on Saturday.

- Carlie Horton was a lethal weapon from the service line, tallying seven aces and adding a kill on her lone swing of the weekend for good measure.

- The Orange and Blue are in the midst of only its second four-match winning streak in program history, joining last season's squad who did so from September 16 to September 23.
