SOFTBALL: Wildcats shut down Arlington Baptist

 

The Wildcats defeated Arlington Baptist University 14-3 in 5 innings.

 

LCU stacked up 11 runs in the first. Singles earned by Senior Desiree Squires, Senior Karlie Stine, and Junior Bella Houck. Doubles earned by Houck, Squires, and Senior BreAnna Corkern. 

 

Sophmore Calyn Brister earned the win only allowing 3 runs and putting away 4. Senior Olivia Coaker came in to relieve closing the game out. 

 

Houck went 3-4 at the plate, leading the team in hits

 

The Wildcats finished with 10 hits,  Houck and Squires led the team with multiple hits each.
