LCU-Paul Quinn men's basketball game pushed back to 7:30 p.m. start

2/15/2023 6:14:00 PM

PINEVILLE – The men's basketball game between Louisiana Christian University and Paul Quinn College scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 16 has been pushed back to a 7:30 p.m. start.

The 7:30 p.m. tipoff, which was the originally scheduled time, is to accommodate PQC's travel schedule.

The men's basketball game between the two schools is the only game that will be played at H.O. West Fieldhouse on Thursday, as the Paul Quinn women's basketball team has suspended its season. The LCU women will be credited with a 2-0 forfeit victory, as they were in January when the two programs were scheduled to meet in Dallas.

Both LCU basketball teams will celebrate their Senior Day festivities Saturday, Feb. 18, when the Wildcats host Texas A&M–Texarkana. The women's game is scheduled to tip off at 2 p.m.

The Wildcat men and women will play their final regular-season home games on Monday, Feb. 20, when LCU hosts Huston-Tillotson. Those games were originally scheduled for Feb. 2, but ice storms throughout Texas prevented the HT basketball teams from departing Austin. The women's game will open the doubleheader at 5:30 p.m.
