PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University men's soccer program received a scare from the seventh-seeded Jaguars from Texas A&M-San Antonio, but a three-goal overtime period squashed the upset bid to move on to the RRAC Semifinals with a 4-1 win on Saturday night.

Wildcats Top Performers:
- Sergio Pita Martin was the first and only player for the Orange and Blue to score in regulation, putting one in the back of the net in the 63rd minute as the RRAC's leading goal scorer continued his ways into the postseason.
- Adrian Amoros Navarro, who ended the season top-ten nationally in assists and led the Red River by a wide margin kept serving up easy looks, notching another pair of assists on the first two goals by the Cats.
- Fabian Perez was on the receiving end of the Amoros Navarro setup about seven minutes into overtime, his fourth of the year.
Notes:
- The Cats have now advanced to the conference semifinals for the second straight season and have made the RRAC Tournament in each of its their three years in the league.
- Louisiana Christian participated in its first overtime game since the new rules took effect with the last one coming on October 7, 2021 in a 3-2 triumph over Texarkana.
