Goff’s Buzzer-Beating Three Punctuates 34-Point Performance In RRAC Opening Win

TEXARKANA, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University women's basketball program was down one point with six seconds left as the Eagles attempted to inbound the ball under LCU's basket. An'Tiesha Griffin timed her jump perfectly, scrambled for the loose ball, flicked it out to Princis Goff who nailed the three-pointer with two seconds remaining for her 34th point of the night, lifting the Wildcats to a 68-66 heart stopping victory at Texas A&M-Texarkana in the team's Red River and road opener.

The ladies won their first conference opener since joining the RRAC and is off to its first 3-0 start since it began the 2014-15 campaign with five consecutive wins . . . Head Coach Anna Phillips was a junior on that 2014-15 squad.
