TEXARKANA, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University women's basketball program was down one point with six seconds left as the Eagles attempted to inbound the ball under LCU's basket.
An'Tiesha Griffin timed her jump perfectly, scrambled for the loose ball, flicked it out to
Princis Goff who nailed the three-pointer with two seconds remaining for her 34th point of the night, lifting the Wildcats to a 68-66 heart stopping victory at Texas A&M-Texarkana in the team's Red River and road opener.
The ladies won their first conference opener since joining the RRAC and is off to its first 3-0 start since it began the 2014-15 campaign with five consecutive wins . . . Head Coach

Wildcats Top Performers:
- Goff made up exactly half of the Orange and Blue's 68 points, dropping 34 on the home side by cashing in on 13-of-22 (59%) with two triples, snatching a game-high five steals, securing five boards and recording a pair of dimes.
- Outside of her, the Cats shot just 28.9% from the floor as they went 13-for-45.
- Deja Tanks missed her third double-double in-a-row by one point, finishing the evening with a contest-best dozen rebounds plus putting a nine on the scoreboard.
- Griffin tied her career benchmark for steals with the clincher in the waning moments, giving her four in 27 minutes on the court while also leading the club in assists at five.
- Olivia Scott figured to be a "Jack of All Trades", posting a stat line of seven points, seven rebounds, four assists plus a steal.
