Wildcats Top Performers:

  • Aniah Adams led the offense with a grand total of 21 kills over the two matches, averaging 2.63 per set.

    - Adams blocked a trio of shots in the opener, a season-high during her second-to-last contest in orange and Blue.

  • Emma Cother strung an even 70 assists together (8.75 per set) including 54-assist, 18-dig double-double in the win over the Tigers.

    - Also against PQC, Cother set a new personal-record 5 kills to go along with campaign-bests for points (8.5) plus assists (54).

  • Leah Stamps logged 31 digs (3.88 p/s) to top the defensive performers.

  • Dynasty Brown sent six blocks careening off the hardwood and Madison Danley collected a trio of service aces to conclude the leaders.

    - Brown set a 2023-most for blocks at five in the victory as she looks to use that as momentum for next year and Danley's trio of aces was a career-high too.

  • Katie Spell was fantastic in the five-set drama-filled quarterfinal triumph, going for a 18-dig, 14-kill double-double with the former being a new benchmark during her tenure.

  • Last but not least, Kierra Jones joined the club by raising her career-best bar to seven digs and a season-most 14 kills.

Notes:

  • For the second straight season, the Orange and Blue won a conference tournament game after having not made the postseason in its first five years as a program.

Next:

  • With only one senior and an additional super senior, the Cats are well-positioned to have an even better 2024 than their historic record-breaking 2023.
