ALEXANDRIA, Louisiana-- Louisiana Christian University traveled across the bridge for a showdown with the rival Louisiana State University Alexandria Generals and finished with a scoreless tie. 

In a defensive battle, the LCU Wildcats would have 14 shots and 12 on goal, but the Generals goalie would have an impressive performance saving all 12.  

LSUA would only have three shots on goal the entire match, as the Wildcats defense shined just that much brighter than the Generals. 

LCU moved to 3-0-4 on the year in Red River Athletic Conference play and remains undefeated. The Wildcats sit third overall in the RRAC with 13 total points.  

The Wildcats will play an exhibition match on Monday, October 17 at 4 p.m. against Mississippi College at home.
