PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana College women's basketball team had a win and in situation going on the final day of the regular season but pulling the upset against the undefeated #2 ranked team in Division III was too much of a task to ask as the Lady Wildcats saw its season end in a 77-45 loss to the East Texas Baptist Tigers Saturday afternoon at H.O. West Fieldhouse.

Alex Harrison led the Lady Wildcats with nine points in the contest along with three rebounds and a steal. On her senior day, Alexis Lege finished with seven points and three boards. Christina Canale had five points, three rebounds, three steals, and two assists on her senior day. Kayla Kinney was the leading performer with seven points and eight rebounds.

The Lady Wildcats close out the crazy 2020-21 season with a 3-5 record overall, going 2-5 in their final run through the American Southwest Conference before the jump to the NAIA and the Red River Athletic Conference starting in 2021-22.
