MARSHALL, Texas – The Louisiana College women's tennis team opened up its 2020 spring season, but the Lady Wildcats couldn't pull out a result in a 9-0 loss to the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs Friday evening at the Marshall High Tennis Courts.
 
LC's best showing in doubles came on the number one match-up as Emma Hixson and Kylie Harless collected three points in an 8-3 defeat. In singles, Hixson had the best game for LC as she picked up four points in the second game of her match on court one in a 6-0, 6-4 defeat. McKenna Raines had the top consistent performance, going 6-2, 6-2 in her match on court four.
 
The Wildcats (0-1) return to action across the Red River in two weeks against LSU Alexandria. Opening serve against the Generals is set for 2:00 P.M. at the LSUA Tennis Courts.
