The Louisiana College Lady Wildcats traveled to the Warriors of Hendrix College in Conway, ARK. for the final match-up before American Southwest Conference play.

A dominate Warrior attack proved to be too much for the Wildcats, scoring five goals and controlling the pace of the game.

The Warriors struck first behind Hagan Griffiths in the eleventh minute after blasting her shot inside the 18-yard box.

An unfortunate series of events lead to the second goal in the 24th minute. Sydney Blevins shot was deflected by a Wildcat defender sending
Haley Clark the opposite direction for the second score.

The Warriors controlled the game, preventing the Cats from taking a shot on goal in the first half.

Three more goals in the second half came before the Cats managed to test the Warrior keeper. In the 73rd minute,
Felicity Hertzog forced Laycee Carpenter to keep a clean sheet.

The Wildcats showed potential but lacked the final pass or touch in the final third to be dangerous. The midfield was able to string passes together but a dominant defense and lacking attack preventing the Cats from scoring their second goal of the season.

Saturday afternoon the Cats open ASC play against Belhaven University at Blazer Stadium in Jackson, Miss. at noon.
For more on the Lady Wildcats follow them on Facebook under Louisiana College Women's Soccer and Twitter at LC_WSOC.
