The Louisiana College Lady Wildcats returned home for one of their two final home games of the season Thursday afternoon against the Yellow Jackets of Letourneau University. The Jackets pulled away with a 2-0 finish, scoring a goal in each half. The Cats play East Texas Baptist University Saturday afternoon for senior day.

Both sides started well, each creating a chance on goal and equally making the save early in the game.  The Jackets then became the more dominant side, forcing Haley Clark to keep the score level with four saves in the first half.  But eventually, the Cat defense would concede, in the 43rd minute, a miscommunication between the defender and keeper lead to the first goal of the game.  

The Jackets would continue their dominance in the second half, scoring a second in the 52nd minute. An LC defender blocked a shot then a Jacket placed her shot off the post and into the upper 90. LC pushed until the end but was unable to chip away at the lead and fall 2-0. 

The Wildcats are home Saturday for an American Southwest Conference showdown against the rival East Texas Baptist University Tigers for senior day.
