Women's Tennis Edge Centenary for Win

The Louisiana College Women's Tennis team picked up their first victory of the season by defeating Centenary of Shreveport 5-4.
The teams split the six head to head matches on the day with Angel Girod (6-3, 6-3), Taylor Payne (6-0, 6-1), and Isabella Santa Maria (6-2, 6-2) taking wins for the Lady Wildcats in singles.

The doubles comeptition belongs to the Wildcats as the team of Shannon French and Isabella Santa Maria (8-2) and the team of Angel Girod and Taylor Payne (8-2) won their matches to give LC the team victory on the day.

The team will be in Jackson, MS this Friday for matches against Tougaloo College (Miss) and Spring Hill College (Ala.) before returning to Pineville for matches with ASC opponent Belhaven.
