MARSHALL, Texas – The Louisiana College women's tennis team had its best conference showing of the year Thursday, scoring a trio of match wins in a 6-3 loss to East Texas Baptist.

The Lady Cats got all three wins in singles competition.

LC No. 1 Taylor Henderson defeated Kellie Ken 6-0 , 6-2; No. 2 Raquel Flaggert def. Kayla Franklin 6-3, 6-2 and No. 4 Elizabeth West defeated Madison Johnson 6-1, 3-6, 10-6.

In other singles action, Karson Kent defeated Katie Pourciau 6-2, 6-2;  Kali Kipp defeated Jessica Clawson  6-1, 6-0 and Klaire Kent defeated Kelsey Hennigan 6-0, 6-1.

In doubles competition,  Kallie Kent and Karson Kent defeated Henderson and Pourciau 8-6, Kipp and Franklin defeated Flaggert and West 9-8 and Johnson and Klaire Kent defeated Kelsey Hennigan and Jessica Clawson 8-0.
