The American Southwest Conference's top defense brought in another honor this week, as senior linebacker Dominic Graham was named to the D3Football.com Team of the Week.

Graham, who had never played defense before this season, making the switch to linebacker from receiver in the spring, stuffed the stat sheet against rival East Texas Baptist Saturday night. The Houston, Tx. native finished the game with 12 tackles, two tackles for loss, a sack, and a pass breakup.

One of the strongest pound-for-pound players on the team, Graham has been one of LC's best and most consistant defenders so far on the season, as he ranks 3rd on the team in tackles and 2nd in tackles for loss. 

Graham is the first LC player to land on the prestigious team this season, which is chosen from all affiliates of the NCAA Division 3 football. 

The senior linebacker will look to help his defense shut down the ASC's top rushing attack this Saturday, as #2 Mary Hardin-Baylor comes to Pineville to take on the 21st ranked Wildcats in the most highly anticpated matchup of the season.
