PINEVILLE, La. - Taylor Henderson prevailed in the most exciting match of the day but LC came up short as a team, falling 6-1 to Ozarks.

Henderson, LC's No.1, defeated Ozarks' Briar Vona in straight sets, 7-5 and 7-5, to log the onmly match win of the day for LC.

In other singles matches, Kailey Lampkin defeated Raquel Flaggert 6-2, 6-2; Whitney Lewis defeated Pearl Woodward 6-3, 6-0; and Nichole Cook defeated Elizabeth West 6-1, 6-1.

In double action, Vona and Lampkin defeated Henderson and Flaggert 8-3, Macie Kelley and Tara Richards defeated Woodward and West 8-0 and Cook and Lewis defeated Elizabeth Chappell and Alicia Ferguson 8-1.
