SAN ANTONIO, Texas. – The #5 seed Louisiana Christian University women's tennis program won a pair of singles matches but could not complete its fourth ranked win in-a-row, succumbing to the 20th-ranked #6 seed Our Lady of the Lake Saints in the Red River Athletic Conference Championship Game, 4-2.

- Raquel Coelho Rodrigues was the other student-athlete to take the point during singles competition, needing a tiebreaker to get past the first set (77-65) before putting the pedal to the medal and putting Millie Wileman away in the second (6-2) on the top line.

- On court five, Adjowa-Sika Geli battled back from an opening defeat to force a rubber match against Ely Laure Ah-sou, producing scores of 3-6 and 6-4 before the contest was called.

- Alexandra Cedeno and Principal Pineda were victorious in their doubles showdown with Wileman and Muller, topping the duo out of the first slot in doubles play (6-2).
