PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University women's tennis program came within one point of defeating its highest ranked opponent in school history, alas, the 11th-ranked Gold Nuggets from Xavier (Louisiana) escaped victorious following seven hours of constant rain delays, 4-3.

- Elizaveta Mikhailova was one of two women to win both their doubles and singles flight, topping Hana Moss on the third line by a 6-3, 6-1 tally and the same level with her partner at 6-4.

- Adjowa-Sika Geli was the other pairing with Mikhailova to defeat Sanai LeSure and Moss in addition to a convincing thrashing of Ana Vasilis out of the six-hole, ceding just one point (6-0, 6-1).

- Lastly, #5 Alexandra Cedeno got the most resistance en route to victory, still coming out on top in two, posting back-to-back 6-4 triumphs over LeSure.
