RAYMOND, Miss. – The Louisiana Christian University women's tennis program was victorious for the first time in just under five years, notching the opening two (of hopefully many) wins during the
Alexandra Starkova era, taking care of business with a 7-2 triumph over Copiah-Lincoln CC followed immediately by a shutout of Hinds CC in a true road match by a tally of 9-0.

- Patricia Principal Pineda was close to flawless on the afternoon, sweeping Hanna Hoop of Hinds (6-0, 6-0) in the second slot and winning the top flight vs. Co-Lin by a 6-2, 6-4 count over Camila Mordiz.

- Ana Sofia Ferrer Martinez also won both of her singles matches against #3 Ally Everett (6-1, 6-0) as well as #4 Macie Shelton (6-1, 6-1).

- Raquel Coelho Rodrigues was fourth and third in the matchups with the Wolves and Eagles, taking the games 6-1, 6-0 (Makaela Rummels) and 6-2, 6-3 (Fabiola Guedez), respectively.

- Chloe Batterton was the #5 Wildcat in each, becoming the final student-athlete to sweep their pair of singles contests, taking down Adyson Parks (6-2, 6-2) and Sydnee Teague (6-1, 6-1).
