HAWKINS, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University women's soccer program held possession for the majority of the match, out-shooting Jarvis Christian 21 to 3 overall and 13 to 2 in shots-on-goal, cashing in on four of their attempts to record shutout number five on the campaign, 4-0.

- Jaycee Woods locked down a clean sheet for the 11th time of her Wildcats career and fifth of 2024, turning away both on-target boots by the Bulldogs.

- Maria Alonso converted a penalty kick into a score for LCU, piling up a career-best seven shots and three on-goal as well as an assist for the third contest in-a-row.

- Valeria Barriga Casallas deposited her fifth goal (and first game-winner) of the season in the 41st minute, opening the scoring during a sluggish opening half of action while ending the day with a new benchmark for both shots (4) and SOG (3) on the year.

- Giselle Laing added some insurance at the 66:20 marker with her second career goal, the second time in the last three matches finding its way past the goalie.

- Elisa Lopez put the cherry on top of the critical conference victory, taking the ball from Ana Guedes and hammering it home for her third career goal with about three minutes left until they boarded the bus back to Pineville. It was Guedes' second straight tilt with a helper.

- Emma Monnet upped her assist total by one, setting up Laing's score with the 16th of her tenure on "The Hill", first of the campaign.

- Zoi Arkirvaki tallied new career-highs regarding her three shots and two shots-on-goal while Lena Cogghe put her first SOG into the stat sheet on Thursday afternoon.

- Woods is one step from the top of the heap as far as shutouts are concerned, tying with Carla Lambert (2004-08) for the second-most shutouts in school history at 11.

- Barriga Casallas was actively charging up numerous program ladders at JCU, rising to seventh in goals (11) and eighth for both points (27) plus shots-on-goal (37).

- Alonso has made her ascent up the all-time assists leaderboard at a rapid pace, closing in on double-figures with her ninth while donning the Orange and Blue.

              * The Spanish striker is now tied atop the career penalty kick goals list, cashing in the second of her career to account for a three-way tie for the crown.Â
                          * She also tied Casallas and Laura Magleau (2021-22) for points at 27 as well as sneaking her way onto the goals leaderboard at tenth with nine.Â
